I never appreciated the commute in the metro. There’s this endless traffic (and pollution), on top of the sometimes unpredictable weather.
Sure, some of us have made the most of the commute too. In my case, I spent most of my commute listening to podcasts, reading books, or getting some sleep.
But now, for those of us who are working from home, work and rest begin to blur out.
However, we can still do breaks after doing focused work. Like watering the plants or playing with a dog.
Whatever you find most appealing to you, take your much-needed break.
Because maybe, it’s not the commute that you missed. But rather, it could be the boundaries that separate your work-mode self from the rest of your other roles.
