If you still ask yourself whether you need to give your best every time (or not), then you might find yourself out of job in the long run, or worse, be on the same job but lacking in motivation and zeal.
Listening to a health worker giving the same instructions (again and again for different people) without lacking in ardor reminded me of a very simple thing:
You need to give your best every time.
Because even if your work is repeated all over again (such as greeting guests the moment they enter the door), it might be somebody’s first time (or only time) being there. So giving them the best experience might encourage them to come back again, and again, and again. Or even better, tell others about you and the work you do.
Just because you did your best every time.
