When people see you as a threat to their status or standing in the community, their fear of you makes them dangerous. Not because you did bad but because you did very well that they want to snuff you out and be remembered no more.
They are simply afraid that you will eclipse their glory.
So what should you do when you meet or work with such people?
Do nothing.
What?
Yes. Do nothing.
Evade from them at all costs but do nothing to harm them.
Why?
Because it’s their very fear that will destroy them.
Letting them be consumed by their own doing keeps you from being accountable for their downfall. Because regardless of how they treat you, it’s still important to have clean hands even when everything seems to go against your favor.
