When you are between choices, it feels like choosing one over the other is a one time deal. It feels so because it is.
Some people rush into making a decision without thinking it through or sleeping over it. Not because the decision needs to be reconsidered but because they want to end the agony of not knowing.
Not knowing which one is a better deal is rather painful.
And when you are at a crossroad, the adrenaline is pure. The sheer force of having the power to change things and make things happen is overwhelming.
But one shouldn’t be consumed lest the consequences come out ugly.
So if there’s still time for you to weigh things clearly, you better should. And of course, submit your plans to the Lord.
Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him],And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].
Proverbs 16:3 AMP
Because once you choose one over the other, there’s no turning back. Either you stay where you are or move forward.
